The Doncaster Safeguarding Children Partnership (DSCP) is a statutory body made up of senior leaders from partner agencies and organisations who work together to safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people across Doncaster.
At the heart of the DSCP is a commitment to children’s welfare. Every child deserves to grow up in a safe, stable and loving environment, and those who need help and protection should receive high-quality, effective support.
The latest statutory guidance, Working Together to Safeguard Children 2026, sets out what organisations and agencies must and should do to help, protect and promote the welfare of all children in England. The 2026 update strengthens expectations around multi-agency working, anti-racist and anti-discriminatory practice, responding to domestic abuse, understanding the needs of babies, and recognising children who may experience multiple or overlapping harms, including those that occur online.
The DSCP website provides a wide range of safeguarding information and support for everyone, whether you work with children, care for them, or are a child or young person seeking guidance.
